Isoko North Boss Celebrates Delta First Lady, ‘True and Worthy Daughter of Isoko Nation,’ on Her 56th Birthday

Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Godwin Ogorugba, has described the State first lady, Dcns Mrs. Tobore Oborevwori, as a “true and worthy daughter of Isoko Nation”.

Ogorugba made this known Thursday during the governor wife’s 56th birthday celebration held the council secretariat, Ozoro.

The birthday celebration which the first lady celebrated with aged women from the locality was attended by illustrious sons and daughters of Isoko nation as well as the political class, clerics, captains of industries, youths, school children and among others.

In his goodwill message, the council chairman noted that the occasion was not only a celebration of the first lady’s birth anniversary, but also a tribute to a life dedicated to service, compassion, and purposeful leadership as well as unflinching support to the governor.

“Today, we celebrate not just the anniversary of your birth, but the impact of a life devoted to service, compassion, and selfless leadership. Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, is a proud daughter of Isoko Nation, her life reflects honour, dignity, and an unwavering connection to her roots.

“Despite the enormous responsibilities of your office and the prominence of your position, you have never forgotten where you come from. You carry Isoko in your heart, and you have continually shown that true leadership is measured not by status, but by service to the people.

“Let me also praise this true daughter of Isoko nation and Delta State first lady for her sustained commitment to the welfare of women, children, and other vulnerable groups across the state. Let also express appreciation for her decision to celebrate her 56th birthday in Isoko North and for extending love and care through the distribution of gift items to aged women in the local government. On behalf of Isoko nation, we wish her long life and prosperity in Jesus name amen.”, Ogorugba prayed.

In her remarks, the governor’s wife and first lady of Delta State, Dcns Mrs. Tobore Oborevwori thanked the people of Isoko North and, by extension, the entire Isoko nation for the warm reception accorded her.

The first lady explained that she deliberately chose to celebrate her birthday this year with aged women in Isoko North as a way of sharing love and giving back to the people even as she called for more support for her husband to continue with the More Agenda in the State.

The event attracted several dignitaries, including the former Secretary to the Delta State Government, Ovouzourie Macaulay; Chairman of Isoko South, Friday Ovoke Warri and his wife, Mrs. Abigail Warri, Chairman of Burutu, Julius Takeme, Special Adviser to the Governor on Project Monitoring, Goodness Agbi; State Secretary of the APC, Peter Akarogbe; former chairman of Isoko North, Emmanuel Egbabor; Vice Chairman of Isoko North, Evelyn Aluta; Executive Assistant to the Governor on Beautiful, Emmanuel Okpomo; Member, Delta State Local Government Commission, Minnie Igbrude; Leader of the Isoko North Legislative Arm, Pascal Emehuala; councillors, Secretary to the Council, Vote Umukoro; supervisors, religious leaders, among others.
