New Year: We Need to Remain Hopeful, Steadfast to ‘Renewed Hope, More Agenda’- Isoko North Boss to Deltans

The Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, has called on Nigerians, particularly Deltans and the people of Isoko North to remain hopeful and steadfast as they continued to have deeper trust and believe in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the MORE Agenda of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

Hon. Ogorugba made this call in a new Year message to the good people of Isoko North, personally signed by him, assuring them that the year 2026 holds greater promises for development and improved living conditions.

According to the council chairman, while he understands the expectations and challenges facing the people, the policies and programmes of both the Federal and State governments are deliberately designed to address those needs.

“I understand the concerns of our people. We all desire progress and better service delivery, and I can confidently assure you that the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President and the MORE Agenda of our Governor are aimed at achieving just that,” he said.

The Isoko North council chairman while commending Governor Oborevwori for what he described as unprecedented infrastructural development across Delta State, noted that Isoko North has not been left out of the developmental strides for a better Delta.

“The entire state has virtually become a construction site. This aggressive push for development is remarkable and clearly unprecedented, and Isoko North is fully part of this progress,” he added.

Hon. Ogorugba further assured the people of Isoko North to expect a more robust and impactful year ahead, as his administration remains committed to consolidating on existing achievements and advancing development at the grassroots.

“Our administration has recorded significant achievements, especially in infrastructure, and we are not relenting. The people of Isoko North will not be left behind as we move into 2026. Nigerians should never be disheartened because there is light at the end of the tunnel. Let me once again use this opportunity to welcome and wish Nigerians and Deltans a happy new year, I pray for sustained peace, unity, and collective progress in the year ahead in Jesus name amen.”. Ogorugba prayed.
