BREAKING: Twist As Rivers Assembly Speaker Snubs Gov Fubara, Lock Rivers Assembly Complex

Published

on

Siminalayi Fubara

Governor Siminalay Fubara, was on Wednesday locked out of the Rivers State House of Assembly when he arrived at the complex.

This is coming apparently after the governor’s failed attempt to reached the Supreme Court recognized Speaker, Martins Amaewhule on phone.

Multiple reports say that the complex gate was locked by the security personnel the moment Fubara and his convoy arrived at the premises.

It was gathered that the security acted based on a lack of communication between the Assembly and the governor.

Addressing the issue, Fubara stated that he informed Speaker Martins Amaewhule through a letter that he was coming.

Fubara added that he had been trying to reach Amaewhule on the phone since Tuesday.
