Omo-Agege Hails Faith Majemite On Her Birthday, Describes Her As ‘A Beacon Of Courage And Dedication’

Hon. Mrs. Faith Majemite, former Chairman for Ethiope East Local Government Area, has been described as a beacon of courage and dedication and an inspiration for women who want to venture into public service through political office.

Deputy President of the Senate in the 9th assembly, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, stated this in a goodwill message on her birthday e-signed by Sunny Areh, his Media Adviser, saying “Mrs. Majemite epitomises the virtues that the people desire to see in their leaders”.

“As chairman of Ethiopia East Local Government, the first woman to hold such position, she espoused and initiated innovative policies that changed the face of grassroots governance that impacted on infrastructure, empowerment, health and security.
