Bombshell As Senator Ned Nwoko ‘Dumps PDP For APC’, Sends Shockwaves In Delta State

Published

on

Senator Ned Nwoko has made a shocking move by defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State.

BIGPEN NIGERIA (https://bigpenngr.com) reports that the move has sent ripples through the state’s political landscape, with speculation mounting that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori may follow suit.

Nwoko’s defection was announced in his hometown of Idumuje Ugboko, Aniocha North LGA, where he expressed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

The senator’s director of communication, Hon. Gloria Okolugbo, also confirmed the reported defection in a terse message but declined further comments.

The development may likely altar the political apple-cart in Delta state in 2027 as Nwoko joins Senators Ede Dafinone and Joel Onowakpo Thomas, making all three senators from Delta State members of the APC.
