The development which will bridge the gap of shortage of offices in the council secretariats, was widely celebrated by council stafd who went wide jubilating.
An elated Ogorugba, was joined by his wife, Veronica, councillors, Secretary to the Council, Vote Umukoro, the treasurer of the Council, Fejiro Elo Ogbogbo, supervisory councillors, heads of departments; and other staff members of the council, in the official stone laying ceremony.
Speaking, he expressed gratitude to God for the progress made so far and urged the contractor to deliver the project on time while adhering to best practices and construction specifications.
“It is a great day, an epoch moment for us here in Isoko North Local Government, and I am truly overwhelmed by the accomplishments we have made in such a short time,” he stated.
“As the biblical saying goes, ‘Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.’ Therefore, we commit this project into God’s hands. I envisioned a conducive working environment, which is why I approved the construction of this complex to facilitate administrative convenience.
“All of these projects we are undertaking are aimed at consolidating His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s “MORE Agenda” at the grassroots.
“I have urged the contractor to deliver this project as agreed and to follow best practices, as the “MORE Agenda” of the Governor is quality-oriented.”, Ogorugba stated.
Once completed, the administrative complex will house all officials of the council.
A highlight of the ceremony was a prayer led by Pastor Raphael Asotie, the Resident Pastor of the Living Faith Church in Ozoro, along with other clerics in attendance.
