Dutch-Nigerian Activist Shares Inspiring Encounter With Pastor Adefarasin, What He Said Will Shock You

Foremost Nigerian-Dutch environmental rights activist, Dr. Sunny Ofehe, has shared his inspiring encounter with Senior Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House On The Rock church after he worship at the church for the first time.

Ofehe took to his social media accounts to share multiple footage of his encounter with the gospel preacher.

According to Ofehe, after listening to a “powerful sermon” in the capacity-filled church auditorium, he met with Pastor Adefarasin, who welcomed him warmly in his office.

“I was blown away by Pastor Adefarasin’s humility and wisdom,” Ofehe said.

“His office, filled with books and reading materials, reflected his passion for knowledge and spiritual growth.”

He presented some of his books to me, he added.

Ofehe, who has travelled globally and have addressed several plenary session of the United Nations Forum on Minority Issues in Geneva, including featuring in several discuss and engagements at the EU Parliament, EU Council and European Commission in Brussels, was moved to request Pastor Adefarasin to be his mentor and was touched by the pastor’s heartfelt prayer.

“The atmosphere was electric, and God’s presence was palpable,” he described.

“He delivered his usual words of wisdom and we joked a bit before he held my hand and together we all held hands in unity while the man of God prayed for me”.

“I officially requested him to be my mentor and afterward asked if I could hug him”.

Pastor Adefarasin, known for his patriotic love for Nigeria and advocacy for youth emancipation, has inspired millions globally with his eloquent preaching.

“I’ve admired Pastor Adefarasin for years,” Ofehe confessed. ”

“Meeting him was a dream come true. His message has touched my heart, and I’m honoured to have him as a mentor.”

The General Overseer with a baritone voice, would later shown Ofehe round his office and asked his subordinates to give him a guided tour of the church edifice, showcasing his “Wall of Fame” room featuring photos with world leaders, including Donald Trump.

At some point, Ofehe exclaimed, “How do you fellowship in this kind of environment and dem say witch dey press you? Where witch wan pass come here now?” This assertion drew laughter for the people with him.

The room’s grandeur and Pastor Adefarasin’s humility left Ofehe in awe throughout his tour of the facilities. Ofehe took time to analyzed some of the photos of the leaders and personalities on the wall, saying it only shown the “calibre of the man Pastor Adefasarin is”.

As they toured the complex, Ofehe marveled at the church’s gym, exclaimed, “I am so impressed. Look at this, the church Gym room, they say cleanliness is next to Godliness and here Fitness is also next to Godliness.”

He commended Pastor Adefarasin for impacting humanity, saying that his ability to understand humanity and connect with people on the same level, was laudable.

Ofehe was particularly moved by Pastor Adefarasin’s selflessness and treatment accorded him and his team, stating, “When you meet people who are selfless, it doesn’t need to come with carriage, look at the way he has treated me and my team is amazing.”

This experience led him to declare his affiliation with House On The Rock, citing the need to shift from spirituality to practical preaching.

“I have never affiliated to any ministry in this country but I am officially declaring to affiliate with House on The Rock today because I was impacted by the message. It’s time for us to move from spirituality into practical preaching because if we can get it right practically we can change our spiritual mindset.

Ofehe, who doubles as Executive Assistant on External Relations and Diaspora Affairs to the Delta State Governor, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori,
however, emphasized the importance of addressing socio-economic issues, saying, “You can’t continue to tell somebody you will make heaven without telling him or her how he can enjoy the socio-economic system of this place.”
