Oborevwori’s Special Adviser, Amechi Celebrates Dr Oputa On Emergence As Obi Of Aboh

The Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State on Investment, Dr Tony Amechi has hailed the emergence of Dr. Greg Nnamdi Oputa as the Obi of Aboh Kingdom in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State.

Aboh traditional Kingmakers had on Wednesday, September 12, 2024, announced Dr Oputa as the successor of HRM Obi Imegwu II.

Amechi who holds the traditional title of Ajuwa of Aboh, observed that the jubilation that greeted the announcement of Dr. Oputa as the Obi of Aboh shows that the kingmakers made the right choice.

Congratulating the new Obi of Aboh Kingdom shortly after the declaration by Aboh kingmakers, the Special Adviser said that the emergence of Dr. Oputa is a new dawn in the life of the kingdom and the indigenous people of Aboh Kingdom and the residents in general, noting that the process was transparent, credible and generally accepted.

The epoch-making event according to the high ranking Chief in the kingdom speaks volume of the tradition and culture of the people.

He called on well-meaning sons and daughters of the community to support the new King.

“As Dr. Greg Nnamdi Oputa ascends the throne of his forefathers, he is bringing hope and the promise of a brighter future for the kingdom.

“This marks the beginning of a new chapter in the rich history of Aboh.

“The emergence of Dr. Oputa as the rightful king brings the opportunity for healing and unity in Aboh Kingdom.

‘Dr. Oputa is a leader who possesses the wisdom, vision, and capacity to lead Aboh to new heights; his reputation as a man of integrity and commitment to progress precedes him, and there is no doubt that under his reign, Aboh will experience a renewed sense of purpose and growth.

“This is a time to look forward with optimism, to envision a future where the kingdom thrives once again and attain its rightful place in the comity of kingdoms around the world.

“As we embrace this new leadership, it is crucial for every son and daughter of Aboh to put aside past differences and come together in solidarity with the new King.

“The future of Aboh depends on the collective efforts of all its people, now, more than ever before, it is time to rally around our new king, His Royal Majesty (Dr.) Oputa, and support him wholeheartedly as he embarks on the noble task of rebuilding and advancing the kingdom.”

The excited Ajuwa who doubles as the Onwa 1 of Ndemili Utagba-Uno, added, “let this moment be a call to action, a call for unity, cooperation, and dedication to the progress of Aboh kingdom.

“Together, with the guidance and leadership of our new monarch, we can heal past wounds and drive Aboh towards prosperity and greatness,” Amechi said.
