President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, tripped and fell while boarding the presidential parade vehicle at Eagles Square in Abuja during the Democracy Day celebration.

According to eyewitnesses, Tinubu lost his footing and slipped while attempting to climb into the truck. However, his security detail and aides quickly rushed to his aid, helping him regain his balance.


But Presidential aide Segun Dada downplayed the incident, according to Sahara Reporters stating, “Mr. President missed his step while climbing into the truck at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration and tripped. It was a mild misstep. He immediately went on with the ceremonial rounds. No issues”.
