Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM) and recently appointed traditional ruler, is currently in the Netherlands.
BIGPEN NIGERIA (https://bigpenngr.com) reports that the cleric turned monarch is visiting the Dutch-speaking country as part of his efforts to attract development to his community.
Apostle Chinyere, known for his charitable work and philanthropy, is the Eze of Ikwu Orie, Ohanku Ndoki Autonomous Community in Abia State.
His philanthropic endeavours, such as offering scholarships to underprivileged Nigerians and building free hospitals, schools, and estates, have positively impacted many lives. During his visit to the Netherlands, Apostle Chinyere aims to attract foreign investors to his community and expand his philanthropic work.
Notably, he has offered international scholarships to not fewer than 7,000 underprivileged Nigerians, built two free specialist hospitals, built 29 free schools, built 18 free estates, built a free skills acquisition centre and many more.
The monarch who is in the Netherlands to attract foreign investors to his community, and upscale his philanthropic work, has been a life changer for many widows, some of whom are quartered in homes, estates he built for widows. He also placed the individuals on a monthly allowances to enable them to cater for their families.

One of his notable achievements that has endeared him to people globally, is the establishment of a free school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), making it the only school of its kind in the world. According to the World Health Organization, one in 160 children live with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) worldwide.
According to reports, thousands of children are born with autism in Nigeria and most of these children with autism are not diagnosed and managed on time; hence their family and society see them as burden.
Some are isolated by their families due to the shame of having a child with intellectual/cognitive disability, while some suffer from the menace of cultural beliefs, superstitions and myths as they are being called witches, imbeciles, fools as well as neglect and stigmatization among others.
Following this disturbing situation, the OPM Foundation run by Apostle Chibuzor decided to setup and run a free school for the special needs in Nigeria.
A recent research report has revealed that the OPM Free School for Autism and Down Syndrome children is the only free school of its kind in the world. The study, conducted across multiple autistic schools in Nigeria, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, compared the fees charged by various institutions catering to autistic and Down Syndrome students.
The findings showed that many schools in Abuja, Nigeria, charge significant fees ranging from N150,000 to N400,000 per term. Similarly, in Canada, schools like the Whytecliff Agile Learning Centre and Applewood Academy for Progressive Learning charge fees ranging from $8,900 to $83,937 per year.
In the United Kingdom, schools such as Abingdon House School and Ambitious College have term fees of £8,500 and annual fees of £67,043, respectively. In the United States, schools like The Glenholme School and Autism School in Colorado charge between $50,000 and $250,000 per year.
The research sheds light on the varying costs associated with specialized education for autistic and Down Syndrome children in different parts of the world.
But OPM free school for Autism and Down syndrome children set up by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, is run free of charges. Apostle Dr Chinyere has been dedicated, committed and faithful about this for years. His unrelenting efforts have brought succour to homes and true meaning to the lives of less privileged Autistic and Down syndrome children in Nigeria, some of whom are hitherto abandoned to their fate.
Despite his laudable humanitarian contributions, Apostle Chibuzor and the OPM Foundation have not received government commendation or support. Nevertheless, he continues to run numerous free schools around the world.
Netherlands-based environmental activists, Comrade Sunny Ofehe, who received Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere at the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam on his arrival from Nigeria, on Tuesday, would later share a post on his social media page, saying it was a rare privilege to play host to the respected monarch.

Comrade Ofehe, who admires the cleric’s dedication to uplifting the less privileged, said that he shares a common passion for social economic justice, particularly in the Niger Delta region.
Ofehe, who was last year appointed as Executive Assistant on External Relations and Diaspora Affairs to the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, has been the ‘poster boy’ for many who seek investors from Europe to their home country.
Besides playing host to the revered Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III last year, and also Ovie of Agbarha, Ofehe, being a key figure in attracting European investors to Nigeria, considers it an honour to welcome Apostle Chibuzor, who is also the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, to the Netherlands.
During his visit, Apostle Chibuzor will meet with strategic stakeholders to further his humanitarian appeal and engage the European business community to strengthen economic and social ties.
