Okowa’s Ex-Aide, Hilary Ibegbulem, Grants University Scholarships To 3 Students

In a commendable move to support education, Dr. Hilary Obioma Ibegbulem, the former Principal Secretary to the ex-governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has awarded university scholarships to three outstanding students in his community.

The students emerged as the top performers in the prestigious Dr. Hilary Obioma Ibegbulem English and Mathematics competition, which took place on January 20th, 2024, at Ute Okpu Grammar School.

Dr. Hilary Obioma Ibegbulem,who hailed from Ute Okpu, is known for his commitment to the education sector.

He presented the scholarships to the deserving students on Friday.

A digital content creator, Bathelemen Okehebulor, in a social media post, said that the gesture serves as a major milestone for the students of Ute Okpu Grammar School, highlighting Dr. Hilary Obioma Ibegbulem’s deep concern for the education of the people in Ute Okpu Kingdom.

He said that Dr Hilary Obioma Ibegbulem recognized the pivotal role of education in societal and national growth, hence the scholarship offer.

“Education is the key to unlocking potential, empowering individuals, and fostering economic development. Therefore, investing in the education of our children is essential to secure a brighter future for them.
