BREAKING: Buhari Issues Fresh Order To IGP As Police Council Confirms Appointment

President Muhammadu Buhari has issued a fresh order to the newly appointed Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba to ensure insecurity is brought to the barest minimum.

BIGPENNGR reports the order was given during the Police Council meeting presided over by President Buhari from where Baba’s appointment was confirmed.

Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi, disclosed this at the end of the one and half hours meeting, saying that the IGP was unanimously confirmed.

President Buhari had on April 6, appointed Usman Baba as acting Inspector General of Police.

Baba was a Deputy Inspector General of Police before his promotion.
