Nigerian Army Appoints New Ag. GOC For 6 Div After Gen. Irefin’s Demise

The Nigerian Army has appointed an acting new General Officer Commanding (GOC), 6 Division Nigerian Army and Land Component Commander Operation DELTA SAFE (LCC OPLDS).

He is Major General Ibrahim Mohammed Jallo.

BIGPENNGR.COM reports the appointment following the demise of the former GOC Maj Gen Olu Irefin.

This was contained in a statement by Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations 6 Division Port Harcourt, Lieutenant Colonel Charles Ekeocha.

Until Jallo’s appointment, he was the Commander 63 Brigade Asaba, Delta State.

The new acting GOC/LCC OPDS has since assumed duty.
