According to report, this is the second time the hoodlums would bulged the assembly complex in the last three weeks.

Efforts by journalists who visited the assembly located a metres away from the Governor’s Office, in the precinct of the State Secretariat, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, to take photograph of the scene were rebuffed by some security agents who said they got “order from above” to stop journalists from accessing the complex.

Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun had earlier on Thursday visited the assembly for on the spot assessment.

The Spokesman of the Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi who confirmed the incident, said that the head of the mace has been recovered, while investigation into the bulgary and theft has commenced.
