The Security details of the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, were withdrew from him on Monday night as Presidential Panel eventually ordered his detention at the Force Headquarters.

This was after the Presidential Panel headed by a retired President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Isa Ayo Salami grilled him for about eight hours and ordered his detention, according to Nation report.

According to the newspaper, Magu was said to have been taken to the Force Headquarters in Abuja by operatives of the Force Criminal Investigation Department, where he requested to be detained inside a cell and not allowed to sleep in one of the offices there as he was offered.
