BREAKING: Buhari Appoints Musa As Chief Personal Security Officer
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Aliyu Abubakar Musa, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), as his Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO).
The new appointment was disclosed in a statement on Monday evening by Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.
According to the statement, DCP Musa, an indigene of Niger State, last served at the Zone 5 of the Nigeria Police Force, Benin City, before his new appointment.
“President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Aliyu Abubakar Musa, as his Chief Personal Security Officer (CPSO).
“DCP Musa, from Nigerian Police Force Zone 5, Benin City, as his last station, hails from Niger State.
“Musa’s appointment follows the redeployment of his predecessor, Commissioner of Police (CP) Abdulkarim Dauda”, the statement read.
