Nigeria COVID-19 Grows By 587 Cases, Tally Hits 17,735
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Wednesday, says the country has recorded 587 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing a total of 17, 735 cases nationwide.
Announcing this on its wehsite, NCDC also disclosed that the country recorded 14 deaths.
“On the 17th of June 2020, 587 new confirmed cases and 14 deaths were recorded in Nigeria, bringing about 469 deaths nationwide, 5,967 recoveries from people earlier infected in the 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory”.
The 587 new cases are reported from 18 states, the agency added.
