Nigeria Records Long Single-day Drop In COVID-19 Infection, Deaths

Nigeria on Tuesday recorded a long single day drop in the number of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the country.

The country also recorded low fatality rate one week after the cases surged past 4000 across the nation.

This was contained from the figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on late Tuesday.

According to the figures, throughout the country, only 146 new cases was recorded on Tuesday against the surge on Monday and last week which returned over 200 cases.

From the Tuesday record, Nigeria’s total cases stand at 4787 cases, with 959 previously infected patients discharged and 158 deaths across across board.
