JUST IN: Nigeria Records Significant Increase In COVID-19 Cases With 184 Infection

Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 184 positive infection across 22 states and the FCT, bringing an increment to the COVID-19 curve in the country.
So far, the country has a total of 4971 cases, 1070 discharged and 164 deaths from coronavirus infection.
This was contained in a tweet post by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) this night.
Nigeria had on Tuesday recorded a long single-day drop across the states but from the Wednesday figures, both active cases and fatality rate went up significantly compared to the previous day.
For the Wednesday figures released by NCDC, Lagos, adjudged as the epicenter of the infection still top the chant with 51 cases followed by Jigawa 23 and Bauchi, Katsina which recorded 16 cases each.
Delta State, which for a very long time has not recorded a case, added five to its curve, bringing a total of 22 cases in the state.
