COVID-19 Cases Reach 2388 In Nigeria With 220 New Infections

A total of 2388 persons have been reported infected with coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria with 220 additional new cases reported by the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) Saturday night.

The agency, in a tweet on its twitter handle said, of the 2388 overall cases so far, 385 who earlier tested positive have been treated and discharged from isolation centres across the country but 85 persons have died of COVID-19 so far.

The break down of the new cases recorded from 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja are as follow;

62-Lagos, 52-FCT, 31-Kaduna, 13-Sokoto, 10-Kebbi, 9-Yobe, 6-Borno, 5-Edo, 5-Bauchi, 4-Gombe, 4-Enugu, 4-Oyo, 3-Zamfara, 2-Nasarawa, 2-Osun, 2-Ebonyi, 2-Kwara, 2-Kano, 2-Plateau.
