COVID-19: Nigeria Hits 117 Cases In One Day As Testing Capacity Increases

As the number of labs performing Coronavirus tests in Nigeria doubles, so also discovery of persons who have contracted COVID-19 across the country.

This is as Centre for Disease Control, Tuesday, announced a 117 increase of cases, the highest so far since the tests started in the country, bringing the overall data figures to 782.

The breakdown of the new cases are as follow: 59 in Lagos, 29 in FCT, 14 in Kano, 6 in Borno, 4 in Katsina, 3 in Ogun, 1 in Rivers and 1 in Bauchi state.

As at 11:10 pm 21st April, there are 782 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria, according to NCDC, 197 treated and discharged cases and 25 death.
