JUST IN: Ganduje Sacks Commissioner For Making ‘Unguarded Post’ About Late Abba Kyari

Kano state Governor, Umar Ganduje, has sacked Commissioner of Works and Infrastructure, Engr Mu’azu Magaji, who allegedly posted unpalatable comment on social media about the person of late Abba Kyari.

The Presidency had in the early hours of Saturday announced the death of Abba Kyari, who had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19.

Kyari died on Friday.

BIGPEN understands that Magaji, was fired after the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Malam Bashir Ahmed, drawn the attention of the governor to comment purportedly made by Magaji on his Facebook page.

It was learnt that few hours later, the Kano state Information Commissioner announced the sack of Magaji.

The Presidential aide, would later confirmed the sack in his verified twitter handle.

He wrote; JUST IN: @GovUmarGanduje of Kano State has relieved the appointment of the Commissioner of Works and Infrastructure, Engr Mu’azu Magaji, he was removed following his unguarded utterances against the person of late Abba Kyari, a statement from the State Information Commissioner.

“The Governor has taken an action, the Commissioner has just been sacked following his unguarded utterances.

“According to a statement from the Kano State Government House, late Abba Kyari had led a life worthy of emulation by serving his country to the best of his ability.

Malam Ahmed had in his earlier tweeted said; “I am really disappointed and pained by the Kano State Commissioner for Works, Engr. Muazu Magaji’s remarks on Mallam Abba Kyari’s demise, the commissioner was seen publicly celebrating the death on his Facebook page. I hope @KanoStateNG and @GovUmarGanduje will call him to order”.
