Finally, Buhari Sets To Address Nigerians On COVID-19 Today By 7:pm

At last long, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari will today by 7:pm address the nation on the global outbreak of corona virus disease which has claimed over 684,652 people globally, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Buhari was reported to had disappeared from public glare following the outbreak of the virus in the country.
For days, Buhari’s absence to address the nation had sparked series of criticism and unfounded claims that the President must have been smuggled out of the country to Cuba for a better healthcare.
But dispelling the speculation, the presidency had on Saturday released video and pictures of Buhari meeting with the Minister of Health and Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) at the presidential villa, Abuja.
On Sunday, presidential spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, in a terse message announced that President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 7pm.
Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast, Adesina said.
