JUST IN: INEC Issues PDP’s Diri, Deputy Certificate Of Return

Preliminary Voter Register

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has issued Certificate of Return to Bayelsa Governor-elect, Senator Douye Diri and his deputy.

INEC’s National Commissioner Legal Matters, Dr Mrs May Agbamuche-Mbu made the presentations of the CoR shortly after Diri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP was declared as Governor-elect of Bayelsa.

BIGPEN Online recalls the Supreme Court’s judgement had on Thursday stopped the inauguration of Chief David Lyon of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the governor of the state following a ruling that Degi-Ermienyo, Lyon’s running mate was not qualified to have contested the election with the APC governorship candidate.
