Omo-Agege Excited Over Ofehe’s Moves To Influence Dutch Football Academy To Delta

Deputy President of the Nigeria Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has expressed delight over moves by Comrade Sunny Ofehe, Nigeria-born Netherlands based environmental activist to influence a Dutch football academy to Delta State.

Omo-Agege spoke shortly after he played host to Ofehe and the Chief Executive Officers, CEOs of the Dutch-based Global Football Academy, (GFA), Mr. Dennis Bekking and Full Sport Group (FSG), Mr. Diederik Bos who paid him a courtesy visit on Tuesday evening.

The duo owns one of Europe’s best football academies in The Netherlands.

Commending the trio for the laudable proposal which promises to enhance socioeconomic status of Delta and bring the state to global ranking, Omo-Agege said that the concept when fully implemented would help young boys who are sport incline develop their talent to better themselves and the state. 

In a post made on his verified facebook page, the Deputy President of the Senate wrote: “Yesterday evening after plenary, I received Comrade Sunny Ofehe, a former Delta State Governorship aspirant and founder of the Dutch-based Sunny Ofehe Foundation in my office. 

“His visit was to intimate me of his quest to set up an International standard Football Academy in Delta State.

“Comrade Sunny Ofehe came with the CEOs of the Dutch-based Global Football Academy, (GFA) Mr. Dennis Bekking and Full Sport Group (FSG), Mr. Diederik Bos who owns one of Europe’s best football academies in The Netherlands.

This visit and plans gladden my heart in more ways than one as the Football Academy will take in our boys who are sports inclined and channel their energy into something very productive for the common good of our dear State and the country at large”.
