Okowa Likely To Appoint New SSG Inauguration Day

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa may likely appoint a new Secretary to the State Government on Wednesday when he would be swore in for a second term as Executive Governor of oil rich Delta State.

BIGPEN Online understands that Governor Okowa wants to hit the ground running with his developmental blueprint in the second tenure of his administration and had penciled down a new SSG to replace the former SSG, Ovie Festus Agas.

Dependable sources disclosed that the Governor is likely to appoint a new SSG on inauguration day to get the government rolling immediately after him and his deputy, Kingsley Otuaro take oath of office.

BIGPEN Online understands that Delta State following successive pattern, traditionally doesn’t retain SSG from one administration to incoming one.
