Nwaoboshi, Elumelu Coasting Home To Victory With Wide Margin

Peter Nwaoboshi is on his way back to the red chamber as senator representing Delta North senatorial district.

He beats his main challenger, Doris Uboh of APC hands down with the results already declared by INEC.

Nwaoboshi won in Oshimili North with 21557 votes while Doris Uboh got 1907 votes.

The senator also won in Aniocha North with 13258 votes. Uboh polled 3557 votes.

More results are still been expected for the duo.

Meanwhile, Ndudi Elumelu is having upper hand in the Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency race.

He won in Oshimili North with 20335 votes, beating his main rival, Paul Adingwupu, the APC candidate to 1861 votes.

Elumelu also won his Aniocha North local government area with 13485 votes, while his opponent got 3438 votes.

INEC Returning officer, Oshimili south, Dr. Ignatius Ezoem announced the results at the commission’s office in Asaba, Delta state.
