Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s All Progressive Congress, APC members who have been converted to Allied Peoples Movement (APM) on Monday stoned President Muhammadu Buhari and National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

BIGPEN ONLINE learnt Mr President was on the podium making his speech and about raising the hand of Dapo Abiodun, the party’s flagbearer for the governorship election when the party members started throwing stones at him.

He was immediately shielded away by security agents as missiles flew towards the podium from all directions as he raised Abiodun hand.

The development, it was gathered forced the programme to an abrupt end as members of Allied Peoples Movement (APM) who are Abiodun’s rival who thronged the rally as APC members kept the missiles flying from all directions.

Recalls that Amosun had sold the party to APM and washed its dirty linen in the public long before now when he declared support for Buhari and opposed his party’s governorship flagbearer.

Reports say Amosun had openly showed while speaking at the rally that he would not allow Abiodun to be presented as the APC flagbearer, thus instigating the stone hurling which brought the programme to a sudden end.
