Buhari Fires TETFUND’s Executive Secretary, Appoints Bogoro

President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Dr. Abdullahi Baffa.

In his place, he named Prof. Suleiman Bogoro who was a one time Executive Secretary of the agency as replacement.

Dr. Baffa’s removal is with immediate effect.

Baffa was an aide to the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu.

He was appointed the head of TETFund alongside 14 other heads of parastatals in the education ministry on August 2, 2016.

According to reports, Baffa had been having a misunderstanding with Adamu Adamu, particularly as it concerns 2019 intervention.
