Mr. Omoyele Sowore, a frontline Presidential aspirant and publisher of Sahara Reporters has lamented that Nigeria government killed his father as a result of bad and corrupt leadership.

Speaking in Warri, Delta state on Friday during a town hall meeting held at the PTI conference hall, Sowore said many Nigerians including his father died because they were deprived of amenities that would have make life worth living.

Sowore said that it is unfortunate that the old politicians who he said plunged the country to its abysmal state keep re-circling themselves in power, lambasting President Muhammadu Buhari for asking Nigerian youths to wait for another four years before they can leverage on the “Not Too Young To Rule” bill recently signed into law to be in governance.

“I read very sad the other day, that President Buhari said that after signing the “Not Too Young To Rule” bill into law, that we should still wait for another four years before it will come to our turn and I asked why did he bother to sign the bill.?

“I want to tell you that it took China four years to build the fastest moving train, it took four years for Ghana to restore their electricity problem and today you will walk into Ghana and you won’t see blackout.

“So, four years is so long for us to wait for our turn. They are asking us to be sentenced into another four years of imprisonment. We must reject it now and take back our country.  I am happy today because I am in Warri and people of Warri don’t take nonsense so, because we are in Warri, we are rejecting the another four years to wait before we take back our country from the hands of these thieves and corrupt old expired politicians who have continued to kill our country.

“We are not taking it, Buhari, whether he likes it or not, he is going back to his village come 2019 and we must usher in a new era for ourselves. Do you know Nigeria killed my father as a result of bad and corrupt leaders.” Sowore lamented.

He also took a swipe at former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan for not completing the multi-billion naira East-West road project, saying that Jonathan did great injustice to people of Niger Delta for not completing the road before leaving office.

“I found it very emotional that on our way here to Warri from Port Harcourt, we saw the East West road that for over 20 years they could not complete the East West road, he said adding, “there is nothing they haven’t tried, they gave it to NDDC, they gave it to the Ministry of the Niger Delta, but they couldn’t finish it.

“There is nothing that these thieves and corrupt old politicians would ever start that they could finish. The reason is that they are not interested in us, they don’t care about you and I, they have sold us all and there is no way we can continue with them like this. Enough is enough, and we are taking back our country from these set of criminals who called themselves our leaders.

According to the young energetic presidential hopeful, if voted into power, his administration will tackle the rot in the education sector, infrastructures, health, security, agriculture, technology, and tourism, saying that he has no doubt in his mind that with the readiness of the Nigerian people, the lost glory of Nigeria can be brought back by no other people than the take it back group.

“The lost glory of this country can be brought back by no other people than the you and I,  don’t believe we can’t get it right, we have the resources that can go round. We have reached the point where they have driven themselves from power, and this is the time we must take back our country because our mum don do.” Sowore charged the people.

Meanwhile, Sowore who was  received on a courtesy visit on arrival to Warri at the palace of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli II, said that Nigeria can work again if they collectively use their Permanent Voters Cards, (PVCs) to take back the country from the hands of  “These old corrupt and expired politicians.”

While reeling out what he christened “SPICER-HEAT” an acronym of the ten points agenda of his administration if elected into office come 2019, Sowore, assured the people of Delta state and the Niger Delta region of building a new Nigeria from the foundation where everyone can boast of been a Nigerian.

“We are banning them from going back into office again, they have done enough damage to us. Most of them who are still there, we are sending them back to their villages and towns because we will not continue like this anymore.  We must all try as much as possible to get our Permanent Voters Cards, (PVCs), its very important, if we must take back our country from the hands of these old corrupt leaders.

“Up till today, Buhari is one Nigerian that still lived on collecting two allowances from two places, he is collecting money as a pensioner and as a president of Nigeria, the same thing is the story of our senate, a lot of our senators are former governors, in fact, the Nigerian senate is a retirement homes of former thieves who called themselves governors, they are there collecting two salaries.

“When SaharaReporters exposes some of them, the one in Kwara said he is returning his own but till today they have not been able to provide us with evidence that they refunded the money. Some of us who graduated ten and twenty years ago hadn’t gotten a job in this country, yet some elders, old people have three jobs and some of them are getting paid without working at all.

“These persons we called our leaders are very very wicked people. They love it that we are suffering. They no longer believed in this country any more. Their best houses are outside Nigeria, they have them in Dubai, London and of course some of them in the U.S. Corrupt politicians in Nigeria have succeeded in bribing God and God has left this country. The Nigeria God is retired, God is tired of the Nigerian people and to bring back God to Nigeria, we need to kick these guys out of power”, the presidential aspirant said.
