A Police Station in Onicha Olona community, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta state was on Tuesday razed by mobs over alleged police killing of an Okada rider, BigPen Online can report.

Report says a police officer at a check point along Issele Uku/Mkpitime road open fired on the motorcyclist after he failed to part with N100 ‘bribe’ demanded from him.

“The cyclist attempted to escape from the officer, hence the police officer released the trigger and allegedly wasted the life of the Okada rider”, a source said.

Another version however says the policeman hit the cyclist with the butt of his gun on his head which led to his death.

Irked by the development however, youths mobilized and burnt down the police station located in the community.
