Rivers State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has alleged that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State set aside Five Hundred Million Naira (N500M) of the Rivers State government to sponsor a very devious smear campaign against the F-SARS Commander, Akin Fakorede, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP). Governor Nyesom Wike of River State, has announced a handsome reward of the sum of N200 million for information that will lead to the arrest of the perpetrators of the crossover night attacks in which 17 persons were killed in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government of  the State. The governor spoke on Tuesday when he led the Rivers State Security Council on a fact-finding/sympathy visit to the families of the victims.   Over 21 persons have been murdered in cold blood in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State. Although details of the incident were still sketchy, a source said the victims were murdered by gunmen in the early hours of today as they were coming from crossover church services in Omoku, Onelga in River State. The source said that some armed men, believed to be foot soldiers of notorious militant leader, Don Nwanee raided the town at the wee hours of the day, leaving it with tears and wailing. Reports say among the dead was a son of the paramount ruler of Ogbogburu in Egiland where the incident took place.   The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has recovered the sum of N11.9m stolen from Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, by a fraudulent banker. A Federal High Court in Rivers State has remanded nine foreigners and two Nigerians in prison for oil theft. The suspects are Mohammed Ejaz,  Naseer Khan (Pakistani), Oleksandr Nazarenko, Oleksandr Kashernvi (Ukrainians), Romeo Annang, Francis Ahorlu, and Kwesi Attah (Ghanaians).
