Delta Govt Allay Fears Of Ijaws Over Military Operations To Smoke Out Notorious Militant Leader

The Delta State Government has allayed fears of Ijaw Communities of Ogriegbene, Endoro, Edegbene, Ojobo and Torugbene in the state over ongoing military operations in the communities. Secretary to the State Government, Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas in a statement obtained by BigPen Online, said that the skirmishes in some of the communities was between military personnel and members of a criminal gang led by one Mr Peregbakumo Oyawerikumo (aka Karaowei).
