The Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has directed the termination of the appointment of the Director-General, State Security Service (SSS), Lawal Musa Daura, Channels Television is reporting. The termination of appointment according to a statement signed on Tuesday by Senior Special Assistant to Osinbajo on Media and Publicity is with immediate effect. Daura has since been directed to hand over to the most senior officer of the State Security Service until further notice. Daura is however in a closed-door meeting with the Acting President, currently holding at the presidential villa in Abuja. Leaders of the Southern geopolitical zone on Sunday vowed to press on with their demand for the restructuring of the country saying that the country was approaching a terminal crisis from which it cannot recover unless it is restructured along the paths of the 1963 Constitution. A new world-class fertilizer plant built by Indorama Eleme Fertilizer and Chemicals Limited, will be inaugurated today (Thursday) by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. According to a statement by Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity, Office of the Vice President, the plant with production capacity for 1.5 million Metric Tons of Urea fertilizer is considered the world’s largest single-train Urea plant.
