The Police has taken into custody, Mr. Yusuf Abdulwahab, the Chief of Staff to Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, his Personal Assistant, (Political), Alabi Olalekan, as investigations over the gruesome Offa robbery deepened. Police spokesman, Jimoh Moshood announced this on Sunday, saying that five of the bandits arrested during confessions had indicted the senate president and the governor.   Senator Dino Melaye, who was earlier granted N90 million naira bail by an Abuja court has been remanded in prison till June 11, 2018. Melaye, who represent Kogi West Senatorial District, was ordered remanded in prison by a Magistrate Court in Lokoja, Kogi State. This followed his arraignment on charges of gun running, conspiracy and aiding of jail break by the police.
