The All Progressives Congress (APC) screening appeal committee says 19 aspirants has been disqualified from contesting various offices at its national convention. Briefing journalists on Saturday, chairman of the committee, Rochas Okorocha said petitions were received from party members for the disqualification of some of the aspirants screened. He also noted that the committee has not received any petition against aspirants vying for the national chairman and national secretary positions. Justice Gabriel Kolawole, in a ruling on Tuesday, declared as null and void the practice of the national assembly to investigate criminal allegations involving individuals.
