Dr. Umar Mantu, son of former Deputy Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu, has empowered hundreds of Nigerian youths in areas of leadership skills, wealth creation and skills acquisition at the annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA).

Umar, a lawyer, and founder of MANUMAR foundation, carried out the gesture in conjunction with the Rotary club of Abuja and Rotary District 9125 comprising 23 states.

It is the third year edition of the MANUMAR foundation empowerment programmes for youths in Plateau state and across Nigeria.

Many among the beneficiaries have become business enterprenuers and productive people to the society, and others excelling in various leadership positions across the state and country at large.

This year edition, youths who arrived Abuja in batches from the 23 states including Jos, Plateau State capital took part in a one week leadership training, empowerment and various skills acquisition programs courtesy of the MANUMAR foundation and Rotary.
