8,400, N4bn Fraud: Court Issues Arrest Warrant Against Amaju Pinnick

An Abuja Federal High Court has ordered the arrest of the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick and four others over alleged fraud.

Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu issued the bench warrant for arrest of Pinnick and others on Monday.

BIGPEN Online could recall that the Federal Government had filed criminal charges of fraud to the tune of $8,400, N4bn respectively against the trio, being Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) fund allegedly misappropriated.

When the case was called in court, the NFF president and the other accused were absent, prompting the judge to issue the bench Warrant, The Nation report claims.

Those to be arrested are the NFF Secretary, Sunusi Mohammed; the 1st Vice-President, Seyi Akinwumi; the 2nd Vice-President, Shehu Dikko and an Executive member, Yusuff Fresh.
