Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Allegedly Kill Three In Delta

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have reportedly shot dead three persons in Abraka, Isiokolo Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.

BIGPEN ONLINE gathered that the attackers waylaid their victims on their way from the farm.

Local sources from the area told our correspondent that the incident happened about 5:30 pm at Reserve road Abraka on Tuesday.

One of the victims simply identified as Kennedy Ukuwanorvwe, 27years old was killed by the attackers who later that night around 7: pm also shot dead two farmers suspected to be a young girl and her mother at Abacha camp who were returning late from farm.

The said Abacha camp farming area of Abraka, according to local sources is predominantly farmed by indigenes of both Abraka and Obiaruku.

It was gathered that one of the victims was identified to be a native of Obiaruku in Ukwani LGA and his corpse have been taken home by relatives while the others deposited at a morgue in the area.

State police public relations officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya couldn’t be reached to comment on this report but police source disclosed that divisional police officer, Abraka police division, CSP Hassan Isah (CSP) had mobilised men to the scene of incident.
