Delta state Government is to benefit from a European Union (EU) and United Nations Children Education Funds (UNICEF's N2.5billion water scheme project after failure of successive PDP government in the state to provide water for use by Deltans. The procurement, construction and rehabilitation of water supply asset in the state by the international agencies is coming under the Niger Delta Support Programme (NDSP).
